Pas nulis ini, gw lagi perjalanan pulang Chicago – Minnesota, Sejauh ini perjalanan nya udah makan waktu selama 5 jam , pantat gw berasap, huh.
Well, Chicago was okay, I really like this city , its pretty much like little version of NCY. Lots of branded store spread off all over the building, fancy mall, crowded and busy pedestrian along the zebra cross, effing huge and tall building, beautiful view of city park, and the dominance of city vibe.
Gw sama Hostfamily gw stay di Hilton Garden Inn Hotel , Evanston, South Suburb Of Chicago. Hari pertama adalah perjalanan pas kita pergi ke Chicago , ceritanya dalam rangka thanksgiving holiday ,soalnya adek gw yang paling kecil request dari jaman baheula buat trip ini, yaudah aja kita cabut buat 5 hari ( Rabu – Minggu). Selama perjalanan , kita naik mobil , which is ngabisin waktu 7 perjalanan dari Minnesota – Chicago, yeah I was flattening my ass off , and anyway my dad and my hostsister are took shift for driving, gw? Ngorok selama perjalanan , hey I’m a growing kid, need lots of time to sleep :p ( dan adek gw amazed sama kemampuan gw yang bisa langsung ngorok even mesin mobil baru nyala selama 30 detik, oh yeah sleepyhead rule)
Second day, we went to Chicago with took the public train, it takes about 25 minutes from Evanston – Chicago, and we need to passed about 17 station, which is feels like forever to wait tho, and Holly Golly, I’m really freezing my butt off because of the massive windy during the day, even there wasn’t winter yet, I was beaten by the weather , ouch. By the way, Water Tower Place (mall) adalah spot pertama yang jadi tujuan kita, it’s a tall building mall with 7th floor, disana kita cuman window shopping, put our eyes on the store that become our target for Black Friday shopping (adek gw sih yang belanja, gw mah egak hehe) setelah itu kita pergi ke barnes and noble bentar then went to HERSEY STORE CHICAGO !! Holy Crap , that store just awesome, its all about chocolate, I mean, literally the store are just sell chocolate ! I bought hot cocoa and taste a lil piece of hersey’s sampler , I wish my parents gift that store as my birthday present, and I’ll be the happiest kid ever J. Then we closed the day with took an old fashioned horse ride all around the city , stopped in starbucks at fullerton station while dad met up with his friend and finally had dinner in the chilli’s, Mexican restaurant ( and I had experienced to taste japalenos, the nastiest chili that I have ever had,its taste like shit, iyish !)
The Third day we were going to sadie’s (hostsister gw) old friend and had thanksgiving dinner over there, it was nice time, and good dinner, thanks god I could control my appetite and not ate like a pig , so I didn’t embarrassed my hostfam afterall haha yeah sometimes its quite problem when one of your favorite things to do is eating , which on my live list eat appear on the very top number lol . And the day after , black Friday shopping all day long (for my sisters), its quite a view to saw people empty their wallet to clean up the sale offer, what a mad world #ceritanya gw jeles karena gapunya duit hahahaha.
Finally the last day, the day when I already sick of Chicago and really wanna go back to Minnesota, we were going to Museum Of Science Chicago, which is really awesome place !! it’s a huge museum with all the variant science experience on it !! I cant describe all the things that I did , or else It’ll be 5 pages blog, and my favorite part was driving jet plane simulation , so much fun !! (I almost puke on someone shirt anyway =,= oh well) .
Seems pretty fun holiday huh? Actually , It is. But not really when I realized bunch of schoolwork to do , dammit. Suddenly its ruined all the good memories from Chicago haha noo just kidding, I had plenty fun time thou, thankyou stone family, it was really great time J
Dan akhirnya, bakal nyampe minnesota 45 menitan lagi, well gak kerasa kalo ngeblog cukup makan waktu lama yaa, dalem mobil udah gelap aja, mata riyip-riyip pas liat lcd juga ini haha tidur ah hehe, dadah ;)
(PS : cant wait for jingle bells concert and winter fling dance, still wondering who is gonna be my couple or partners to the dance hehe )
